CONNECTIONS

>>

Only use patch cables type CAT5e or better between network card and control unit.

>> 

Do not use a network hub or switch or any other network extension to connect the control unit
to the computer.

>> 

Do not bent or apply tension to the display's data cables and the power cable to prevent
damage.

Connecting the control unit

 

Connect the data signal input [

Ethernet IN

] (right jack) of the control unit to the ethernet port (RJ45

jack) of the computer via the included patch cable.

 

The control unit's output [

Ethernet OUT

] (left jack) serves for relaying the data signal to the input

[

Ethernet IN

] on the next control unit.

 

A maximum of 255 control units can be connected in series.

 

If needed, a standard CAT5e patch cable up to 100 meters long may be used (point-to-point connection
provided). Different lengths are available as accessory.
