You can install the device at any desired place in dry rooms. Please make sure that the device is not
exposed to extreme heat, moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your
own and the safety of others!
Do not operate the device in extremely hot (more than 30° C) or extremely cold (less than 5° C) surroun-
dings. Keep away from direct insulation (particularly in cars) and heaters.
Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by persons not
qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!
Never use solvents or aggressive detergents in order to clean the device! Rather use a soft and damp cloth.
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-
circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.
CONNECTIONS
Mains input
Plug the power-plug into your safety socket.
The occupation of the power-cord (3 x 2.5 mm²) is as follows.
Brown
live (L)
Blue
neutral (N)
Green/Yellow
earth (E)
The earth has to be connected!
Please note:
The power-plug is only allowed for a total current of up to 16 A. This is why the maximum
power output is restricted to 3,680 W.
Outputs
Output is via 6 safety power outlets. Connect your consumers via the safety power outlets. The maximum
current per channel is 5 A and the maximum current of 16 A must never be exceeded.
OPERATION
After you connected the device to the mains, the Board 6S is ready for use. You can switch the desired
channel on and off via the switches on the frontpanel.
REPLACING A FUSE
If a fine-wire fuse of the Board 6S fuses, do only replace the fuse by a fuse of same type and rating (F 6,3 A,
250 V fast).
Before replacing the fuse, disconnect from mains.
