If you don’t plan to use this port,
you can set this line to “Disabled”
to save power. The default setting
is “Enabled”.
Serial Resources
If you are not planning to use these
serial ports, you can disable them
(by choosing “Disabled”). This way
you can assign resources to an-
other device, e.g. a PC Card de-
vice.
Fax/Modem Note:
If you are using a PC
Card fax/modem which is limited to IRQs
3, 4 or 5, you may want to disable Serial
Port B to free up these resources.
