BATTERIES

-

Batteries/rechargeable batteries do not belong in the hands of children.

-

Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around in the open. There is a danger that

children or pets may swallow them. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

-

is a risk of explosion!

-

Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; risk of explosion! Only charge recharge-

able batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.

-

Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the battery/rechargeable battery (pay

attention to plus/+ and minus/-).

DESCRIPTION OF THE FEATURES

-

Simultaneous display of thermometer and hygrometer values

-

Max-min value recorder for temperature and air humidity

-

   Comfort display

SET-UP

-

Place the device on a level, fl at and stable surface.

-

Protect valuable furniture surfaces by using a suitable underlay; otherwise, it may cause

scratch marks.

-

The set-up location should not be in the direct vicinity of any heat sources, since otherwise the

measured values could be distorted. For this reason, you should also avoid placing it in direct
sunlight.

INSERTING/REPLACING THE BATTERY/RECHARGEABLE
BATTERY

Open the battery compartment on the rear of the housing and insert a battery of type AAA/Micro
with the correct polarity. The correct polarity is indicated in the battery compartment.

After inserting the battery, the device operates again.

Close the battery compartment again.

The battery must be replaced, if the contrast on the display fades or the display no longer functions.



Rechargeable batteries can be used. However, the lower operating voltage (rechargeable
battery = 1.2 V, battery 1.5 V) and lower capacity will reduce the operating time.

When the batteries are changed, the stored maximum and minimum values of the ther-
mometer and hygrometer are deleted.

OPERATION



The sensors for the thermometer and the hygrometer are located inside the housing and
thus display the values for the interior of the housing. Therefore, to obtain more accurate
measured values, do not hold the device in your hand or place it near a heat source.

The measurement display needs about 15 to 30 minutes to stabilise and to display ac-
curate values.

-

In normal operation the display shows the instantaneous values   of temperature and humidity.

-

Press the MAX/MIN RESET button briefl y multiple times to display the maximum and minimum

values for the temperature and air humidity, one after the other.

-

To delete the memory and restart the recording, press and hold the MAX/MIN RESET button

while the values to be deleted are displayed.

-

Between the displays for the humidity and the temperature, there is a bar graph that gives the

current comfort-value. The more bars displayed, the more comfortable the human body will
feel with the current ambient levels.

-

Press the °C/°F button to toggle the display unit of the temperature value.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.

Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Do not use any chemical cleaning agents, as they
can discolour the plastic casing.
