mode.
i) Switching Frost-Alarm On/Off and Setting It
The frost alarm is triggered before the actual alarm time (“
W
” or “
S
”) if the
outdoor sensor for channel 1 (label “CH1”) measures a temperature below 0 °C. The
time for the frost-alarm can be set to 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.
Example:
Set the alarm time to 6:00 a.m. and the frost-alarm to 45 minutes. If the outdoor
sensor for channel 1 measures a temperature below 0 °C at 5:15 a.m., the basis
station issues a preliminary alarm signal at 5:15 a.m. The regular wake-up signal is
issued at 6:00 a.m.

If you have not done so yet, switch on at least one alarm function “
W
” or
“
S
” first as described in chapter 12. g); otherwise, the frost alarm cannot be
activated.

Now select the frost-alarm and briefly press the “ALARM” button (6) repeatedly
until “
PRE AL
” is displayed.

Switch the frost-alarm on with the button “
” (12) or off with the button “
”
(11).

When a frost-alarm is set, a time of 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes is
displayed.
If the pre-alarm is switched off, “OFF” is displayed.

Press the “ALARM” (6) button until the number displayed (15, 30, 45, 60, 75,
90) starts to flash. Adjust the frost-alarm minutes with the button “
