Cet aspirateur est doté
d’une poignée télescopique
qui vous permet d’en
étendre la portée.
1. Pour déployer la
poignée, appuyez sur
le bouton de relâche
de la poignée
télescopique. (Fig. 8)
2. Maintenez le bouton
enfoncé tout en
tirant sur la poignée
jusqu’à ce qu’elle
clique en place. (Fig. 9)
3. Afin de raccourcir la
poignée télescopique,
enfoncez son bouton
de relâche et poussez
sur la poignée jusqu’à
ce qu’elle clique
en place.
Battery Removal & Disposal
The cordless hand/stick vacuum is
powered by Nickel-Cadmium Ni-Cd)
batteries, which must be recycled or
disposed of properly in accordance with
state, federal and local laws. The battery
pack used in these models is
replaceable, however care should be
taken when doing so. Follow these steps
when replacement is required:
1. Using a #3 Phillips head screw driver,
remove the screw securing the
battery compartment cover located on
the under side of the power unit/hand
vac.
2. To remove the cover, press down on
the battery compartment cover while
sliding towards the rear of the unit.
NEVER
open the battery
compartment except to change the
battery.
3. Set aside battery compartment cover
and screw.
4. Carefully lift out battery pack and
disconnect the terminals.
5. Connect the terminals to the new
battery pack taking care to connect
the red lead (+) to the positive
connector first and the other lead (-)
to the negative connector second.
Place the new battery into the battery
compartment.
6. Tuck the wiring inside the battery
compartment so that the wiring does
not interfere with the battery
compartment cover when it is
replaced.
CAUTION
•
Use only with the battery pack
supplied with the unit.
• Do not attempt to remove the battery
pack from the unit to charge it.
• Never attempt to throw the battery
pack or unit into a fire or incinerate it.
• Do not attempt to remove or damage
the battery casing.
• Battery must be recycled or disposed
of properly at the end of it's service
life.
CAUTION
:
NEVER
use the unit without
the battery compartment cover in place.

l’aspirateur chargé en place.
Cet aspirateur est excellent pour
nettoyer les escaliers, transformant
une tâche difficile en un jeu d’enfant.

1. Assurez-vous que l’aspirateur est
en place sur le boîtier du bloc-
moteur.

Avertissement:
Assurez-vous
l’appareil n’est pas branché au
chargeur avant de nettoyer la
coupelle à poussière.
1. Pour ouvrir le compartiment de la
coupelle, appuyez sur son bouton
de relâche et retirez-la.
2. Vérifiez que le filtre à poussière est
à l’intérieur et rattachez la coupelle
sur l’aspirateur portatif. (Fig. 4)

REMARQUE

1. Afin de retirer
l’aspirateur du
boîtier du bloc-moteur,
enfoncez le
bouton de relâche
de l’aspirateur.

2. Agrippez la poignée
de l’aspirateur
et tirez. (Fig. 6)
3. Afin de remplacer
l’aspirateur dans
le réceptacle du
bloc-moteur,
placez d’abord le
fond de l’aspirateur
sur le réceptacle.
Inclinez-le ensuite
vers le boîtier du
bloc-moteur, jusqu’à
ce que ce qu’il clique en position.

NOTE:
1. The on/off switch must be in the
“OFF” position in order to charge
the unit. If the charging indicator does
not light, depress the on/off switch
once.
2. If the product has never been used or
has been stored for an extended
period of time without use – it will take
several complete charge and
discharge cycles to realize the full
operational time of your product.
7. Re-install the battery compartment
cover. Please call customer service at
1 (800) 798-7398 if there are any
problems removing batteries.
Call
your nearest recycling center for
information on the recycling and
disposal of Ni-Cd batteries. Do
NOT
attempt to replace the batteries
used in this product with any other
type of battery.
