OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

4. Ensure that the connector plug

is securely in place. Make sure that

the pin on the connector port cover

fits into the hole on the connector

plug.

NOTE:

The power “On” indicator on the

steam generator iron should illuminate

to indicate that the iron is on.

5. Set the temperature control dial to

the desired setting.

6.  When the power “On” light on the

steam generator iron goes out, the

steam generator iron has reached

the desired temperature.

7. Ensure that the

“green”

steam

ready light is illuminated on the

steam cleaner before using the

steam generator iron with steam.

IMPORTANT:

While using the steam

generator iron, if steam has not been

released for more than approximately 5

minutes, the iron steam hose has

cooled and any steam remaining in the

iron steam hose from the last use might

condense. Clear this condensation by

pressing the continuous steam button

before proceeding to use the steam

generator iron or disconnect the iron

steam hose from the steam cleaner.

CAUTION:

Always use the iron rest on

the ironing board or table. Do not rest

iron on any other surface when ironing.

DO NOT leave iron unattended when

plugged in.

2. To stop steam, let go of the steam

release button.

WARNING:

Never direct the

steam from the steam generator iron

at yourself or another person.

Special care must be taken when

the iron is used in a vertical position.

The steam is very hot and can cause

burns.

Steaming Your Clothes with the

Iron

CAUTION:

DO NOT

steam or iron

clothes while wearing.

1. Ensure that the “

green

” steam ready

light is illuminated on the steam

cleaner.

2. Ensure that the power “On” light is

illuminated on the iron.

3. Press the steam release button down

and hold while steam is required.

Dry Ironing

For ironing without steam:

1.  Set the temperature control dial to

the position which corresponds to the

fabric you wish to iron.

2. As soon as the ready light goes off,

the iron has reached the desired

temperature.

NOTE: Do Not

press the steam release

button when you are ironing without

steam.

CAUTION:

The maximum duration of

using the steam generator iron for

steaming your clothes is 5 minutes at a

time. Steaming for longer periods might

cause water drops in the steam. If you

need to steam for a longer period follow
the instructions listed below.

3. After steaming your garments for 5

minutes, place the steam generator

iron back on its iron rest.

4. Wait for the steam ready light “

green

”

on the steam cleaner to go “On”.

5. Continue to steam your garments

for an additional 5 minutes.

NOTE: Never leave the hot iron resting

on the iron rest for extended periods of

time.

The lifespan of your steam

generator iron will be reduced if the iron is

left idle at high temperatures for extended

periods of time. If the iron is not in use,

reduce the temperature to the lowest

temperature setting on the temperature

control dial, and unplug the steam cleaner

from the wall outlet.

temperature is attained, the ready light
