HOW TO OPERATE:
1. Steaming and stewing:
a) Put the ingredients inside the glass steam cup. It is best to add just enough water to cover
the food, or a little more. Fill the glass steam cup no more than 80% of its volume, and cover it
with the glass lid.
b) Using the provided cup, pour water into the base of the unit. Do not exceed the “400 mL”
water level.
c) Place the glass cup holder inside the base, and then the glass steam cup inside the glass cup
holder, followed by the glass lid to steam the food.
d) Place the clear lid to cover the unit.
e) Plug the power cord into the power outlet; toggle the switch to the “I” position. The red light
will turn on.
Note:
If you unplug the unit from the wall outlet to turn it off after using it, and if there is water
leftover in the base, to turn on the unit once more, plug the cord back into the wall outlet. The
unit will turn on and the light next to the switch will automatically turn on, showing the unit is
working. There is no need to toggle the switch for the unit to start working. If the light does not
turn on, then toggle the switch to “I” to turn on the unit. After a prolonged period of storage of
the unit, if the heating element in the base detects moisture, then when you plug the cord into
the electrical outlet the light will turn on.
f) The unit will automatically turn off when there is no more water in the base. If you would
like to turn off the unit while there is still water in the base, unplug it from the wall outlet and
the unit will turn off.
g) When the unit turns off automatically after all the water has evaporated from the base, but
you need to turn on the unit again and the power cord is still plugged into the wall outlet then:
• Add water to the base
• Wait for 1 minute for the heating element to cool down
• Toggle the switch to the right, and the unit and the light will turn on.

d) Place the clear lid to cover the unit.
e) Plug the cord into the power outlet; toggle the switch to the “I” position, the red light turns
on, showing the unit is functioning.
Note:
If you unplug the unit from the wall outlet to turn off the unit after continuous use and
there is still water in the base, to turn on the unit again: a) plug the cord into the electrical
outlet, b) the unit will turn on and the light next to the switch will automatically turn on,
showing the unit is functioning. There is no need to toggle the switch for the unit to start
working. If the light did not turn on, then toggle the switch to “I” to turn on the unit. After a
prolonged period of storage of the unit, if the heating element in the base detects moisture,
then when you plug the cord into the electrical outlet the light will turn on.
f) The unit will turn off automatically when there is no water left in the base. If you would like
to turn off the unit while there is water inside the base, unplug the unit from the wall outlet
and the unit will turn off.
g) When the unit turns off automatically after no water is left in the base, and if you need to
