• The installation of this appliance must be carried out as per this manual and the 

 manufacturer’s 

We recommend that you use a 

 installer to carry out the installation.

• If in doubt do not hesitate to contact your local Jindara or Eureka dealer.

• This appliance weighs in excess of 230 kilograms. Extreme care should be taken when handling the appliance.

Read and follow these instructions (in conjunction with the Duet

SRS2/Duplicity Freestanding manual) carefully before installing this appliance.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

A minimum 1000mm

wide x 1800mm

deep x 12mm thick

 protector should

be used under and in

front of the appliance

when installing. The

 protector should

extend 500mm in

front of the appliance

base on both doors.

Note 1: A combustible mantle must be no lower

than 500mm from top plate of heater.

Note 2: Internal wall noggin must not be lower

than 500mm above top plate of heater (a steel

noggin is permitted lower than 500mm).

If cutting hole through

a plasterboard wall

ensure wall width is

within 100mm

minimum to 115mm

maximum in thickness. 

If constructed in brick

ensure wall width is

within 100mm

minimum to 145mm

maximum in thickness.

This Heater has been tested to AS2918:2001 Appendix B.

Test Report No. HCMG/14/069A using an Australian Standard

 kit. 

For the through wall installation additional  

8˝ stainless is to be 

 over the 7˝ stainless active

 then a 9˝ mesh 

 shield and a 10˝ stainless steel

 shield are to be installed, both to ceiling height. 

(See diagram opposite)
