INSTALLATION
To install the device properly the user has to:
1. Replace the existing door viewer on the door or drill a 14-28 mm hole in the door at eye level.
2. Insert the camera from the outside door while inserting the washer between the back of
the lens and the door. The user should make sure that the white mark on the camera points
upwards.
3. At the back of the door viewer there is a metal frame that has to be opened (it should be
moved down and then pulled to the user).
4. Fit the back cover of the main frame over the end of the lens. Then screw the locking barrel
onto the threaded part of the camera, turn the mainframe clockwise for one turn to make it
firmly tightened.
Note:
During the installation in the door the user should carefully turn the device while tightening
and avoid moving the camera. Not obeying this advice can result in the mechanical damage
of the wire connecting camera with monitor.
5. Connect the single wire from lens to the white connector in the mainframe.
Note: The wire should be connected in such way that the wire does not turn 180 degrees.
6. Put 3 AAA batteries in.
7. Close the mainframe and hook the screen over the two little brackets in the top of the back
cover. Push downwards to make it firmly secured.
8.
Push the button to get the image displayed. After 10 second image disappears automatically.
Note:
If it occurs that due to any reason the monitor cannot remain its horizontal orientation (smooth
surface of door, cracking the door that loosens the barrel and so on) it is advised to additionally
apply two thin strips of double-sided tape as shown in the fig. 7.
