Euphonix Media Application Controller Operation Manual

Figure 9-2

Sources Tab

The Sources tab is used to create sources to SME’s mixer inputs. To create a source,
select the

Format

(Mono, Stereo, or 5.1), select the

Start Channel

, type a name into

the

Name

field

and click the

Create

button. SME creates the input monitoring section

and adds it to the list of sections on the

Main

tab; it is now available for monitoring.

To create a section called

CD Player

: Select

Stereo

from the

Format

, select 1 as the

Start Channel

, type

CD Player

in the

Name

field, and press the

Create

button. This

creates a stereo monitoring section for SME mixer input channels 1 and 2. The inputs
to that section are defined in the

Hardware I/P Patch

tab (page 78), where a hardware

input can be patched to each SME I/P.
