Appendix 7: eTung RTU MODBUS

Protocol Overview

eTung RTU MODBUS protocol is compatible with standard MODBUS protocol. Below

is an overview of RTU MODBUS protocol, and details please refer document “eTung
RTU MODBUS protocol”.

eTung RTU device is Modbus slave, and device id is 0x01.

eTung RTU serial parameters are:

baud rate: 9600bps

data bits: 8
stop bits: 1
parity: N
start bits:1

eTung MD-620 RTU supports one relay output(DO) and one optocoupler input(DI),

and the corresponding operations are as follows:
