Chapter 1   Introduction  

ISA-E2  User’s Manual

port and a programmable watchdog timer are available on-board. The 
CPU card also provides a  LCD panel interface for connecting a 
Direct-Drive LCD Panel. The LVDS interface is also reserved to 
support latest LVDS Panel. What’s more, the VIA Twister-T chipset 
on-board  card incorporates the latest microprocessor technology to 
provide the increased bandwidth needed to operate your system bus at 
speeds up to 133 MHz. 

 

   The ISA-E2 comes with VIA integrated hardware monitoring device 
that monitors system and CPU temperature, voltages of all system 
power rails, and CPU fan speeds to prevent system crashes by warning 
the user of adverted conditions. The power management feature 
provides power savings by slowing down the CPU clock, turning off 
the monitor screen and stopping the HDD spindle motor.
