The quality of installation will affect the performance and reliability of your ETON amplifier. For maximum
performance we recommend you have new ETON amplifier installed by an authorized ETON dealer.
If you decide to connect the amplifier by yourself. It is important that you read this manual carefully and
throughout before starting. Once you have finished reading and you still have question regarding installation,
we recommend you see your local ETON dealer.

Eton amplifiers are designed to work within a 10 to 16 volt DC range. Before any wires are connected, the
electrical system should be checked for correct voltage supply with the help of a voltmeter.
First, check the voltage at the battery while the engine is not running. The voltmeter should read between 12
and 13.8 volts. If your electrical system is not up to these specification, we recommend having it checked by a
technician before any further installation. Once is checked, make certain the correct cable size is used. We
recommend using proper cable gauge, 0 AWG (53 mm²)
Der Klasse „D“ Verstärker wurde hergestellt, um im Bereich 10-16 Volt betrieben zu werden. Vor dem
Anschluss jedweder Kabel sollte deshalb mit einem Spannungsmesser (Voltmeter) das elektrische System
auf korrekte Spannung überprüft werden.
Prüfen Sie zunächst die Spannung an den Batteriepolen während der Motor aus ist.
Das Voltmeter sollte nicht weniger als 12 V anzeigen. Danach prüfen Sie die Batterie bei laufendem Motor
und einer Drehzahl zwischen1500 und 2000 rpm. Das Voltmeter sollte nun zwischen 13.5 und 14.5 Volt
anzeigen. Falls das elektrische System Ihres Fahrzeuges diesen Spezifikationen nicht entspricht, empfehlen
wir es zunächst in einer Werkstatt überprüfen zu lassen. Wir empfehlen die Verwendung eines
Kabelquerschnitts von 50mm²
