Switching on ‘boost’
You can use the ‘boost’ function to cook at the highest power level for a short period of time
(10 minutes). After the maximum boost time has passed, the cooking zone will switch off.

1. Turn the control knob to the P position.
▷ A acoustic signal will sound.
▷ The ‘boost’ function is now active and ‘P’ appears in the display.
▷ After ten minutes the boost function stops and ‘o’ appears in the display.
2. Turn the knob to ‘0’ to switch off the cooking zone.
▷ Three acoustic signals will sound.
▷ After a few seconds, the hob will switch to standby.
Not all 4 zones can be set to setting 9 (or boost) at the same. The 4 zones can be set
to a maximum of setting 4 at the same time. Another zone needs to be reduced or
switched off first if a higher setting is desired. The appliance will beep and in the display
symbol ‘r’ and the selected power will start to flash. You should then set the zones to
a lower setting!
