INSTRUMENT OPERATION
- The hygrometer
sensor is positioned within the body of the
instrument. The humidity reading is given in
%rh (percentage Relative Humidity).
Please note:
there is no external humidity
probe. The unit will also measure
temperature. To view the temperature press
the Temp/Humi button.
ALERT SETTING
- The alert settings are
preset. The Moisture Alert will automatically
sound if the humidity exceeds 70 %rh or
drops as low as 25 %rh or the temperature is
exceeds 40 °C or drops below 1 °C. To cancel
the alert press either the Temp/Humi or Alert
Max/Min button.
MAX/MIN
- To display the Max/Min for either
humidity or temperature press the Temp/
Humi button followed by pressing the Alert
Max/Min button to show maximum and
minimum readings.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Replace the
battery using a AAA or 1.5 volt equivalent
when the display dims.
EMC/RFI
- Instrument performance may be
affected if operated within a high frequency
radio field, such as near a mobile phone, or
if subjected to an electrostatic shock. If you
experience any problems with the unit, press
the reset button at the front of the instrument.
GUARANTEE
- This instrument carries a
one-year guarantee against defects in either
components or workmanship. During this
period, products that prove to be defective
will, at the discretion of ETI, be either
repaired or replaced without charge. The
product guarantee does not cover damage
caused by fair wear and tear, abnormal
storage conditions, incorrect use, accidental
misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication
