PREPARATION OF THE CHARGER
- Connect the power cord to the connection socket on the back of the
charger housing.

Recharging should not be done in
confined areas or an environment which is damp,
dusty or under exposure to heat.
• Remove the protective cap from the charging socket of the
rechargeable storage cell and connect the charging cable connector
(see 1 picture 1) respecting the orientation determined by the
actuator and screw and tighten the retaining ring.
• Connect the plug of the power cord to a 230 V~ power outlet.
It automatically activates the charging status display on top of the
rechargeable storage cell (see 2 picture 1) which is accompanied by
the LEDs on the front of the charger being lit.

powered correctly.

Monitoring the charge cycle and charge termination
The observation of the charging status display on top of the
rechargeable storage cell informs you about the progress of the
charging. 5 coloured LEDs light up progressively, starting with the
red light next to the «I/O» button.
When the five lights are on, the rechargeable storage cell is almost
charged. When charging is complete, the charging current is
automatically terminated and the charge indicator on the charger
changes colour (green)

• Remove the power cord plug from the 230 V outlet.
• Unscrew the retaining ring and remove the charging connector.
• Put on the protective cap on the input socket of the rechargeable
storage cell.
• Put the rechargeable storage cell in stand-by mode by pressing the
«I/O» button on the display: the lights go out.
Otherwise, the rechargeable storage cell is put on stand-by by itself
after a few minutes.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF THE CHARGER
Before any maintenance, unplug the power cord plug from
the 230 V outlet
.
The CA362E charger does not require any special maintenance.
However, it is sensitive to shocks, abnormal heating, humidity and dust.
You should take care of:
- Making sure to unplug it when not in use.
- Ensuring regular cleaning with a dry rag or as needed, with a soft
brush.
- Avoiding exposure to shock, heat, water and dust.
- Storing it in a dry, well ventilated area.
