Replacing micro-filters
After replacing about 5 dust filters, micro-filters must be cleaned or replaced with new ones.
Dispose of the used dust filter and the micro-filters with common municipal waste. You can
buy replacement filters and micro-filters in electro store chain.
Suction micro-filter
Pull out the cassette (grid)
A8
with a microfilter based in the suction space (Fig.17). Open the
cassette (grid), (Fig. 18) and insert new microfilter
A17
(darker side directed to the suction
space), (Fig. 19). Close the grid by snapping it shut. You will hear a clicking sound. Insert
the grid reversely and push it to the suction space of the vacuum cleaner to the maximum
position. Close the vacuum cleaner lid by snapping it shut. You will hear a clicking sound.
Exhaust micro-filter
Push the end of the upper part
A12
of the back cover and remove the cover (Fig. 20). Take
out foam filter
A13
from the grid and remove HEPA filter
A14
from the vacuum cleaner.
Clean both filters in running lukewarm water, e.g. using a cloth or a soft brush and let it dry
completely (Fig. 21). After drying, put both micro-filters back to the grid and to the vacuum
cleaner in the opposite direction. Insert the projections on the back cover into two holes in
the vacuum cleaner cover and snap the cover.
ATTENTION
– The maximum suction effect will be reached with a clean filter and an dust filter.
– Do not use any aggressive washing or cleaning agents or hot water to clean the HEPA
filter and the micro–filter.
– Cleaning the filter will not restore its original colour, but it will restore its filtration
properties.
– The HEPA filter and the micro–filters are not intended for cleaning in a dishwasher.
– Proper insertion of the dust filter to the holder will secure the mechanical safety lock.
Now you can close the lid of the vacuum cleaner
– Neglecting regular replacement of micro–filters can result in the vacuum cleaner failure!
– Make sure that the contact surfaces and sealing elements are functional.
– We recommend replacing the HEPA filter twice a year. Replace the other micro–filters
if they cannot be cleaned properly or if they are damaged. You can buy a replacement
dust filter, a HEPA filter and a micro-filter in the elektro shop chain.
Storing accessories
The accessories, the floor nozzle, the suction tubes and the hose can be dismantled again
or left assembled and hung on the back side or on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner into the
storage position (Fig. 23). For better stability, slide individual parts of the tube to each other so
that the tube is as short as possible. When storing, always set the floor nozzle to the carpet
position (i.e. with the brush retracted); thus you will prevent bending of the bristles.
V. MAINTENANCE
Store the vacuum cleaner at a dry place, far enough from heat sources (e.g.
fireplace,
stove, heating element
) and protect it from weather conditions (e.g.
rain, sunshine
). Treat
surface of the appliance with a soft and damp cloth, do not use coarse and aggressive
detergents! Store the appliance properly cleaned at a dry, dust-free place out of reach of
children and incapacitated people.
