The two wires of the party mode button should go to the CLOSING safety device
terminal and common.
If there is a jumper that terminal - it would need to be removed.

For Normally Closed Safety Terminals
(EX: Estate Swing, Most European Gate Openers)

During normal operation the button should be depressed connecting the circuit.
When you want the gate to stay open in party mode
:
1. open the gate using the remote or another entry device.
2. when the gate is in the open position press the button to release the circuit. (button
will be not depressed)
3. When you wish to have the gate close, press the button back in and the gate will
count down its auto-reclose time and go closed.

For Normally Open Safety Terminals
(EX: GTO, Apollo, Mighty Mule)

During normal operation the button should not be depressed keeping the circuit open.
When you want the gate to stay open in party mode
:
1. open the gate using the remote or another entry device.
2. when the gate is in the open position press the button to connect the circuit.
(button will be depressed)
3. When you wish to have the gate close, press the button back in to release it to non-
depressed and the gate will count down its auto-reclose time and go closed.

The button wires can be extended up to 1000 feet with 18 gauge stranded low voltage
wire. If mounting on the control box, put on the bottom of the control box only to
prevent water leakage.
