4. Assembly and disassembly of external facing
Turn off the power and unplug the power cord before disassembling the device.
4.1. Removal of back cover
1) Remove the LP lever and printer cover.
The screw fixing the LP lever is placed under
the screw hiding (refer to ‘5-15 LP Lever’).
The LP lever is removed by unscrewing the
screw.
The printer cover is removed by

opening it
and
②
pressing it down.
The cover is unhooked as shown

Cover is removed
2) Remove the utility box.
Remove the utility box by removing its cover and unscrewing the
screws (cross-recessed bind head tapping screw 3×8 black) shown on
the Fig. 1.

3) Unscrew the screws fixing the back cover.
 Unscrew 2 screws (cross-recessed bind screw M3×8)on the
upper right and left on the
Fig. 2.
 Unscrew 2 screws placed on the right and left sides of the
backside of the lens plate on the Fig. 3
* The screws can be removed by pulling out the lens plate all the
way. (Cross-recessed bind screw M3×8)

Unscrew 2 screws on the Fig. 4. (Cross-recessed bind screw
M3×8)
 Unscrew 3 screws on the bottom of the device on the
 Fig. 5. (Cross-recessed bind screw M3×8)
4) Remove the back cover to the direction of the arrow on the Fig.
