SPREADER POLE ATTACHMENT / SKIN ASSEMBLY
#27729
#27730
#26536
(A)
Attach #27729 to (26539/26542) and (26540/28878/26542)
assemblies as shown in
Figure 13
. Be sure to fully extend (26539/26542)
and (26540/28878/26542) assemblies until locked prior to attaching
#27729.
(B)
Adjust the length of #27729 to position (26539/26542) assembly, using
the edge of #26536 as a guide. This provides initial positioning, though
once the skin is attached to each pole assembly this location
will vary and need to be adjusted.
TIP: Once the skin has been fully assembled to the frame and sled, make a
locating line using a permanent marker that can easily be seen for faster
set-up when on the ice.

(A)
With #27729 and #27730 in place as shown in
Figure 14
, begin working the #26529 skin assembly
over the aluminum frame work.
(B)
There are hook-and-loop connections sewn on
the inside of the skin to attach/locate each aluminum
frame assembly. Secure each connection as snug as
possible. This will determine how tight the skin will
be once attached to the #25020 sled.
