Power Managemant : This setting controls the System Doze Mode, Standby Mode and
Suspend Mode Timer features. There are four options:
User Define : Allows you to customize all power saving timer features.
Optimize : This is the recommended setting for general use.
Test/Demo : This is for test/demonstration purpose.
Disable : Disable the power management features.
PM Control by APM : The default setting is “ No ”. If set to “ Yes ”, system BIOS will
wait for APM‘ s prompt before it enters any PM mode.
Note : If your system power management is controlled by APM and there is a task
running, the APM will not prompt the BIOS to enter any power saving mode after time
out.
