Sensitivity for broken bag check
If a bag is broken, whenever you activate the solenoid valve corresponding to this bag, this will produce a dust puff. The
equipment can find out this failure and signal the row of bags where there is the breakage.
The activation of the alarm is related to the sensitivity threshold set up in Setup with a scale from 0 to 9 (9 = maximum
sensitivity). The sensitivity means how much the output signal from TC probe have to increase, to be considered as
caused by broken bag. (Ex.: by setting the sensitivity = 5, it is necessary an increment of minimum 6 mA of the output
signal from TC probe to be considered as broken bag).
The display will show the range of variation of the TC probe output signal to trigger this alarm.
If the activation of the same solenoid valve should give origin to peaks of emission above the threshold set up in Setup
for 3 consecutive cycles, this will trigger the E3 alarm for broken bag (see alarm description) and the solenoid valve that
has caused the emission will be excluded from the cleaning cycle.
One single solenoid valve at a time can be excluded from the cleaning cycle.
In the example shown by the graph, the sensitivity is set to 5 and activation of the electrovalves 3 for 3 consecutive
cycles create an emission peak that cause an increment the output signal from TC probe of more than 6 mA compared
to the value measured before the pulse. This situation will cause tha activation of the borken bag alarm.
Note 1. The BB sensitivity of the alarm threshold for broken bag will automatically adjust to any increase in the average
value of the signal from the TC probe. This control will enable the operator to discriminate the probe signal by identifying
the peaks for broken bag only.
Note 2. The alarm for broken bag is related to the interval time between a pulse and the following one. The interval time
shall be longer than the time that the dust caused reach the probe.
Only in this condition the device is able to find the row where the broken bag is.
