Adjusting the Cutting Height
The brush mower has four height settings, which can
be adjusted using the following procedure.
1. Raise the attachment approximately 2 inches off
of the ground.
2. Stop the engine and engage the park brake.
3. Remove the hitch pin from the tail and wheel
height plate.
4. Raise the tail wheel to the appropriate hole for
desired cutting height (refer to diagram).
5. Insert the hitch pin through the tail and cutting
height plate, and reinstall the hairpin to lock the
hitch pin in place.
6.
Adjust the tractor’s 3-point top link so that the
mower deck is level for an even cut. Refer to the
tractor’s owner’s manual for top link adjustment
instructions.
