Making Data and Fax Calls

Note! If you do not know which modem you need, 

check with your mobile service provider to deter-
mine the data service you have.

10  Select the COM port to which you are connecting 

the phone. Click

Troubleshooting

You cannot set up or maintain a data/fax session.

This will occur if you are inadvertently originating 
a voice call when attempting a data/fax call. To cor-
rect the problem, do the following:
