not the case, the default language is English.

Phone Number Display
You can have your phone number displayed when you turn the phone
on. This requires that you have replaced the original greeting with a
greeting text of your own. If your phone number cannot be retrieved
from your SIM card, you have to enter it yourself.

Greeting Text
When you turn on your phone, the Ericsson logotype or your service
provider’s name appears in the display. Instead of this, you can write
your own greeting. The greeting will be stored on your SIM-card.
