Control Panel Setup Problems

If you have problems setting up the control panel, try these solutions:

• To view LCD screen text in a different language, you can select a different

Language

setting.

• To adjust the position of the control panel, carefully raise or lower it using the release bar.

• To turn off the beep heard when you press a button, turn off the

Sound

setting. This also turns off the

dialing sound for sending faxes.

If your product has trouble finding or connecting to a wireless router or access point, try these solutions:

• Make sure to place your product within contact range of your router or access point.

Note:

Avoid placing your product near a microwave oven, 2.4 GHz cordless phone, or large metal

object, such as a filing cabinet.
