4.2.1.1 Release of the Transport Retaining Lever

1.

Open "Cover, Printer".

(Refer to Figure 4-2.)

2.

Grasp and pull the "Transport Retaining Lever" (green) located on the left
side of the "Carriage Unit" to release the locked condition of the "Carriage
Unit".

(Refer to Figure 4-3.)

3.

Close "Cover, Printer".

the "Carriage Unit" and install protective equipment the next
