Using the print head alignment utility

The print head alignment utility includes both black and color alignment
features. To install this utility on your hard drive, insert the EPSON
Printer Software CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive and then type

D:\SETUP

(If your CD-ROM drive uses a different drive letter or you are

using the floppy version, substitute it for

D:\

) at the DOS prompt.

Depending on the country, the CD-ROM may contain multiple-language
versions of the printer software. If the procedure above produced an
error, type

D:\

then specify your proferred language by typing English,

Francais, German, Italian, Portugal, or Spanish, followed by

\SETUP

. Then

press

Enter

. Follow the directions on the screen. After running the setup

program, change to the drive and directory that contains the utility (or set
the path to the directory). Then type

EPCALIB

and press

Enter

. The

following window appears:

Make sure your printer is selected. Click

Next
