4.3.3.8  CR Encoder Scale

1)

Remove the Housing, Upper. (p43)

2) Move the CR Unit toward the center of the printer. 

(See 4.3.3.2 Removing 

Holder Shaft Unit Step 3)

3) Release the slit on the right side of the CR Encoder Scale from the tab of the 

Main Unit.

4) Remove the CR Encoder Scale from the CR Unit.

5) Release Extension Spring 1.494 on the left side of the CR Encoder Scale from 

the tab of the Main Unit, turn the CR Encoder Sensor 90 degrees as shown in 
the figure, and remove the CR Encoder sensor.
