What to do
USB Memory Error
Failed to write to USB memory.
The USB memory may be in one of the following conditions.

The USB memory is damaged
❏
The USB memory was removed while data was being written
❏
There is not enough free space or the number of saved files has reached the
maximum limit

Check that the USB memory is not damaged and that there is enough free space.
Platen Move Error
Abnormal platen move detected.
Check platen path and press
+
.
A foreign object was detected in the platen's path while it moved forward or backward
into the printer. Check for the object in the platen's path and beneath the movable base.
Open the printer cover if necessary to check inside the printer. Close the printer cover after
checking.
Platen Height Error
Height sensor has detected
obstruction. Press
}
to move
platen and check shirt height.
The height detection sensor may have reacted because of the uneven print surface of the
loaded T-shirt. Press the
}
button to move the platen forward, and then adjust the platen
gap.

F/W Install Error
Firmware update failed.
Restart the printer.
Turn the printer off, wait for a while, and then turn on the printer again.
Use Epson Control Dashboard for DTG to update the firmware again.
If this message appears on the LCD panel again, contact your dealer or Epson Support.
Command Error
Check print settings on RIP.
Press the
+
button to cancel the print job and check the following points.

Whether the installed software RIP is supported by your printer
Use software RIP that is supported by your printer.
❏
Whether Garment Creator and software RIP has been started over a USB connection
Start either Garment Creator or software RIP. Do not run them both at the same time.
Information
Some time has passed since
operation began. Finish task
quickly; nozzle check is
recommended once task is
complete.
10 minutes or more has passed since you started cap cleaning or head cleaning set
replacement. If the print head is moved out of its designated position for more than 10
minutes, the nozzles could easily be clogged. Finish cleaning or replacement as soon as
possible. When you have finished the operation, we recommend performing a nozzle
check to confirm that the nozzles are not clogged.

Information
Power On Cleaning is off. Perform
head cleaning if required.
If cleaning is not performed for White ink for a certain period of time, print quality may
decline due to sedimentation (ink particles sink to the bottom of the liquid) and clogged
nozzles. Clean the printer if the printer is turned off for a long time.

Contact your dealer or Epson Support and tell them the maintenance request code.
You cannot clear the maintenance request until the part is replaced. A service call occurs if
