PAPER USED

Size: 24 inch length or longer

Type: Premium Glossy Photo Paper (250)

EXECUTION MODE

Normal Mode

PROCEDURE

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Load the media for adjustment.

3. Start the service program and select

Manual Bi-D Adjustment

4. Click the

[Run]

button.

5. Select the following menu items from the control panel.

Media Setup

Customize Settings

0 RIP Settings

6. Set [1.5] in

Platen Gap

7. Set [0.2mm] in

Head Alignment

and press the

[OK]

button.

8. Select [Manual (Bi-D)] and press the

[OK]

button, then the adjustment pattern will

be printed.

9. Select the pattern with the fewest printed lines and check the number.

10. Input the numbers selected in

Step 9

and press the

[OK]

button.

When the entries are complete, the printer goes back to "Ready".

11. Select the following menu items from the control panel.

Media Setup

Customize Settings

0 RIP Settings

12. Set [2.0] in

Platen Gap

13. Set [0.2mm] in

Head Alignment

and press the

[OK]

button.

14. Select [Manual (Bi-D)] and press the

[OK]

button, then the adjustment pattern will

be printed.

15. Select the pattern with the fewest printed lines and check the number.

16. Input the numbers selected in

Step 15

and press the

[OK]

button.

When the entries are complete, the printer goes back to "Ready".

17. Click the

[OK]

button on the POPUP screen of the service program.

CHECKING THE ADJUSTMENT RESULT

1. Select the following menu items from the control panel.

Media Setup

Customize Settings

0 RIP Settings

2. Set [1.5] in

Platen Gap

3. Set [0.2mm] in

Head Alignment

and press the

[OK]

button.

4. Select [Manual (Bi-D)] and press the

[OK]

button, then the adjustment pattern will

be printed.

5. Confirm the adjustment result (the pattern with the fewest printed lines) is "6" or

"7".

6. Enter the result in

Step 5

and click the

[OK]

button to confirm it. When the entries

are complete, the printer goes back to "Ready".

7. Select the following menu items from the control panel.

Customize Settings

0 RIP Settings

8. Set [2.0] in

Platen Gap

9. Set [0.2mm] in

Head Alignment

and press the

[OK]

button.

10. Select [Manual (Bi-D)] and press the

[OK]

button, then the adjustment pattern will

be printed.

11. Confirm the adjustment result (the pattern with the fewest printed lines) is "6" or

"7".

12. Enter the result in

Step 11

and click the

[OK]

button to confirm it. When the

entries are complete, the printer goes back to "Ready".
