Output slot

Ejects scanned originals.

Card slot

Loads plastic cards. When you insert a plastic card a little way into the card
slot, the card is automatically moved to the starting position.

Feed selector

Sets the feed selector to scan plastic cards or other originals.

Scans originals using the ADF

Edge guides

Feeds originals straight into the scanner. Slide to the edges of the originals.

Input tray extension

Loads originals. Pull out the tray extension if originals are too big for the
input tray. This prevents paper from curling and causing paper jams.
