FX Mode Character Tables

Epson Extended Graphics and italic character sets are available with

FX emulation. The tables in this section show you the characters and

their hexadecimal codes. (International character sets are shown in

Chapter 3.)

To locate the hexadecimal value for a character, find the character

on the table. Move to the top of the column for the first digit of the

hex character. Then move to the left of the row for the second digit.

For example, the character Z has a hexadecimal value of 5A.

To locate the decimal value for a character, determine the

hexadecimal value for the character, then use the chart at the end of

this appendix to convert the hexadecimal value.
