8. You may experience slight tenderness and redness in the
areas treated after epilation. This is only temporary and will
vanish within a short period of time. You may use a cool
towel to calm the area down. We recommend epilating
during the evening to allow any redness or sensitivity to
subside by morning.
9. DO NOT apply any lotion immediately after epilation as this
may clog your hair shafts causing irritation. Wait at least
one hour before applying any lotion.
We recommend the use of light, natural-based lotions after
epilation to prevent clogging of the hair shafts.
10.Regular use of moisturizing lotion is recommended between
epilations to obtain best results.
11.The Epiflex is designed to work in temperatures ranging
from 41

F (5

C) to 95
0
F (35
0
C). If used outside the
recommended range, the epilator may not fully function or
its charge hold may deteriorate.
G. CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
1. Clean the Epiflex and individual parts (epilation heads and
tweezers, body and caps) after each use.
2. Disconnect the Epiflex from any power source and switch
the machine off prior to cleaning.
3. After each use, remove the epilation head and clean the
head of small hairs trapped inside.
4. You may wash the Epiflex under running water or use the
cleaning brush provided with your kit. You may dab the
cleaning brush in rubbing alcohol prior to cleaning the
metal discs, but do not rub alcohol on the plastic parts of
the epilator body or you may cause discoloration Do not
use any other harsh chemicals (nail polish remover, etc.) to
clean the Epiflex.
5. You may also use a bottle of compressed air to blow the
hair off the head.
