1.2 Introduction
Thank you for choosing the LEAK WATCH from EPA!
This document is provided by the company EPA GmbH and is an aid to the
installation of the certificate and the subsequent installation of a digitally signed driver
for the operation of the measuring card
LW-MK3 and LW-MK3plus under the
Microsoft operating system Windows 10. The procedure presented is an individual
exemplary solution approach with which a local computer can be equipped with a
digitally signed driver.
With Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system, device drivers that are not digitally
signed are removed from the Device Manager during an update. Therefore, there is a
need to digitally sign device drivers with Windows 10 to ensure continuous operation
of the hardware.
This description serves as documentation for porting, installing the certificate and
then installing the digitally signed hardware driver for the
LEAK WATCH measuring
cards LW-MK3 and LW-MK3plus .
