RansmitteR

The Proflame 2 Transmitter is a remote control with a blue backlit lcd display. It uses a streamline design with

a simple button layout and informative lcd readout (Figure 3). The Transmitter is powered by three (3) AAA

type batteries. A Mode Key is provided to Index between the features and a Thermostat Key is used to turn

on/off or index through Thermostat functions (Figure 8 & 9).

The Proflame 2 Remote Control System consists of two (2) elements:

1. Proflame 2 Transmitter.

2. Integrated Fireplace Controller (IFC) and wiring harness to connect to the gas valve, stepper motor

battery holder, convection fan, and lights.

- TURN “OFF” THE MAIN GAS SUPPLY OF THE APPLIANCE DURING INSTALLATION OR

MAINTENANCE OF THE IFC.

- TURN “OFF” MAIN GAS SUPPLY TO THE APPLIANCE PRIOR TO REMOVING OR REINSERTING

THE BATTERIES IN THE BATTERY HOLDER
