Burner Switch Blank INSTALLATION:

The burner switch supplied with the surround comes pre-installed and wired. This fireplace doesn’t require a 

burner switch and it can be removed from the surround. Use the black switch blank supplied with the fireplace 

manual to fill the hole in the surround panel where burner switch was for a cleaner appearance.

CLEANING: NEVER CLEAN FACES WHEN THEY ARE HOT. Turn off fireplace and allow to fully cool.

Painted surfaces should be periodically wiped with a damp cloth. Plated surfaces mut be free of fingerprints and 

smudges prior to installation and should be cleaned with a clean soft rag and a small amount of Isopropyl 

alcohol.

IMPORTANT:

 The panel must not seal ventilation openings in the fireplace.

INSTALLATION: 
If Installing a Contemporary or Extruded surround panel lift the access door up until it locks in place. Lift the 

panel

 upright in front of the fireplace with the top mounting flange pointing towards the fireplace. Slide the 

panel 

over the corresponding screws on top of the Top Extension and at the bottom of the Side Extension on each 

side (see Figure 47). Ensure the panel is secure before releasing it. The bottom screws can be tightened on the 

Contemporary and Extruded surrounds for a more permanent install.
REMOVAL: 

Lift the surround straight up in order to unhook it from the screws. Pull the surround away from the fireplace.
