Sensor Test
–
This will confirm that the sensor has been installed correctly. Make sure silicone
is dry before performing flush test - Pour water slowly over the surface of the urinal (must
run over sensor location). If the red light on the controller is flashing, when you stop pouring
water the red light will stay on - there will be a delay, but the urinal should flush.
Outcome of Sensor Testing:

ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION METHOD - VALVE MOUNTED IN-CEILING
The requirements of this method of installation should have been discussed prior to
purchase. Enviro-Tech recommends that an air-break valve be installed and the use of a
single straight copper pipe between the solenoid outlet and the urinal, no horizontal
sections or flexi-pipe. (See installation manual for further details). If you are experiencing
problems with activation, ensure that your installation is correct.
This product is pre-set to deliver 0.8l per flush at 350kPA, any adjustments to flow should be
made on the flow valve, next to the inlet on the solenoid. Do not attempt to make any
adjustments to the controller.
Function of individual components can tested by following the component testing
instructions for the in-wall installation method, detailed on Page 2.
