4. Install the 14.2 ‐ mm (9/16 ‐ inch) T ‐ bar clamp onto the ceiling T ‐ bar as shown in Figure 2 ‐ 3 .
a. Slide each half of the clamp onto the T ‐ bar so that the clamp lip is fully on the T ‐ bar.
b. Slide the two halves of the clamp toward each other until the tabs are inserted completely
into the holes and the clamp fits snugly on the T ‐ bar.

5. Unlock the universal mounting bracket from the access point by inserting the 3 ‐ mm or
1/8 ‐ inch screwdriver into the Unlock hole on the access point as shown in Figure 2 ‐ 4 .

Caution: To avoid damage to the access point’s lock mechanism or electronic components, do
not use excessive force when inserting a tool into the Unlock or Lock hole.
