7.5.1 Displaying the Current STA Bridge
The STA Bridge Information screen ( Figure 7-8 ) displays the current information about the STA
Bridge. The following table describes the parameters shown on the screen.

Parameter Description
Priority Device priority is used in selecting the root device, root
port, and designated port. The device with the highest
priority becomes the STA root device. However, if all
devices have the same priority, the device with the lowest
MAC address will then become the root device.
Hello Time
(in seconds) The time interval at which the root device transmits a
configuration message.
Max Age
(in seconds) The maximum time a device can wait without receiving a
configuration message before attempting to reconfigure.
