The communication error icon
appears, not allowin
g us to fence.
This indicates that a communication link
cannot be sustained between the Pocket
Boxes and the Display Box. The Display Box
will attempt to reconnect, and this icon will
be shown if the Pocket Box is disconnected
for a sustained period of time.

TROUBLESHOOTING A COMMUNICATION ERROR
If you encounter a communication error li g ht, we recommend followin g the steps
below to identify and address the source of the issue.
Firstly:
— Does your Pocket Box have enou g h battery? Check by touchin g the outer pins
of the box and lookin g throu g h the centre pin for the battery indicator li g ht.
— Have the batteries in the Pocket Box come loose? Check that the batteries are
placed securely in their compartment.
Then, check that the radio antenna on the Display Box is unobstructed.
Ensure that:
— There are no lar g e metal objects are placed directly behind the Display Box,
blockin g the antenna.
— The Display Box is not placed in a location where it is closely surrounded by
metal on all sides.
If this does not resolve the issue, check that the radio si g nals are not failin g to
reach the Display Box. This may occur if you are fencin g in a venue where si g nals
are absorbed or dissipate into the environment.
