REPORTING_CFG register
Before making changes to the REPORTING_CFG and the OPTIONAL_DATA_SIZE
registers, you need to ensure the resulting payload length will not exceed 19 byte.
See chapter 5.5.4.
The ENERGY bit field allows selecting if the voltage of the backup battery and / or the en-
ergy level of the internal energy store containing the harvested energy is reported. The en-
coding for the ENERGY bit field is shown in Table 22 below.
ENERGY
Energy storage level / Backup battery voltage reporting
0b00
None
No reporting
0b01
Adaptive
If backup battery present: Report backup battery voltage
If backup battery not present: Report energy storage level
0b10 (Default)
Energy storage Report energy storage level
0b11

ENERGY bit field encoding
The SOLAR CELL bit field determines if the illumination of the solar cell is reported within
data telegrams. The encoding for the SOLAR CELL bit field is shown in Table 23 below.
SOLAR CELL
Solar cell illumination reporting
0b0 (Default)
Disabled: Do not report solar cell illumination
0b1
Enabled: Report solar cell illumination
