Remove any stickers or protective materials from the sole plate before using the appliance for the
first time. Any water or condensation present in the water tank is merely an indication of the
testing carried out on the appliance.
The product works with normal tap water.
Filling the tank

Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal surface.
◆
Extract the water tank (2.) from the base by pulling it from the housing (15.).
◆
Fill the tank (2.) through the water inlet (1.).
◆
Do not fill the water tank (2.) beyond the maximum level (MAX) indicated.
◆
Return the water tank (2.) to the base (8.) until it clicks into position.
Note:
Do not rotate or turn the appliance upside down while the water tank (2.) is full.
If you do so, water could leak from the water inlet cap (1.).
Before using for the first time

Plug the appliance into an electrical socket.

Press the on/off switch (13.), which will light up, to switch
the appliance on; then turn the thermostat dial (6.) to the desired setting - the iron temperature
control light will switch on (5.).

Turn the thermostat dial (6.) to set the desired temperature for ironing. The iron temperature
control light (5.) will light up during the heating-up stage. When the iron temperature control light
Turn the thermostat dial (6.) to “MIN”. Plug the appliance into the electrical socket. Select the
desired temperature using the thermostat dial (6).
Note:
Do not iron items of clothing which feature this symbol on their tag (e.g. chlorofibre and
elastodiene)!
The symbols on the thermostat dial (6.) correspond to the following settings:
To avoid damaging the pump, do not operate the appliance without water in the tank, even for dry
ironing.
Warning:
Before switching the appliance on, make sure that there is enough water inside the tank. Unwind
the power cord fully.
