Do not touch the bit after working before it
has cooled down.
The bit is very hot during
use.

Check the cable regularly and have a
damaged cable repaired or replaced only
by an authorized service center.
This will
ensure that the bench drill remains safe.

Do not use the bench drill with a damaged
cable. Do not touch the damaged cable
and unplug the bench drill if the cable is
damaged while working.
Damaged cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
12.
Store the unused bench drill in a safe
place. The storage place should be dry
and lockable.
This prevents it from being
damaged as a result of being stored or
operated by inexperienced people.

The bench drill is not suitable for
processing of foods.

Do not work on the pieces that you can’t be
sure to retain.
Especially round or uneven
workpieces.

Avoid abnormal body postures.
Ensure
secure footing and keep your balance at all
times.

Do not use power tools in damp or wet
locations, or expose them to rain. Keep
work area well-lighted.
Residual Risk
Even if properly operating and handling this
bench drill, some residual risks will remain. Due
to its construction and build, this electric tool
may present the following hazards,
a) Injury to hearing, wearing ear protection
and limit exposure
b) Injury to sight, Wear protective eyes shields
or goggles
c) Respiratory injury from dust created by
operating the bench drill, wear suitable
protection depending on type of dust.
4. Before use
Unpacking
1. Unpack all parts and lay them on a flat
stable surface.
2. Make sure the delivery contents are
complete and free of damage. If you find
that parts are missing or show damage,
do not use the product but contact your
dealer or the service center. Do not use the
product unless missing parts have been
delivered in addition or defective parts
have been replaced. Using an incomplete or
damaged product represents a hazard to
people and property.
3. Ensure that you have all the accessories
needed for assembly and operation.
Assembly
WARNINGS
Always disconnected with the plug from
the mains socket before working. Danger of
electric shock.
Assemble the bench drill with the following
steps
1. Place the column tube (14) on the
baseplate (17). Bolt the column tube
(14) to the baseplate (17) with the three
assembly screws (16) supplied. Tighten the
assembly screws (16) moderately tight so
that the threads in the baseplate (17) do
not strip.
2. Place the drilling bench (20) on the column
tube (14). Push the drilling bench (20) into
a lower position. Use the locking handle
(15) to fix the drilling bench (20) in a lower
position.
3. Position the vice (23) on the drilling bench
(20). Screw it firmly onto the drilling
bench (20) by means of the supplied Vice
assembly screws (22) together with the
washer and the lock washer in the order as
shown in fig. B
4. Place the motor unit (13) on the column
tube (14). Secure the motor unit (13) with
the two clamping screws (28) with the
supplied Allen key (26) as shown in fig. C.
5. Bolt the three drill control levers (10) into
the hand wheel and tight them.
