DANGER DUE TO ELECTRICITY

Before plugging the appliance into the mains socket, ensure
that the voltage shown on the rating plate matches the local
voltage supply.

Always connect the appliance to an earthed socket.

Do not start ironing if your hands are wet or if you are ba-
refoot.

Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected
to the power supply. Disconnect the power supply cable
from the power point after every use.

The device and the power cable must be kept away from hot
surfaces and sharp edges.

The use of extensions not approved by the manufacturer
can result in damage to property and personal injury.

The power cord plug must be unplugged from the socket
before filling the iron with water.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

Do not operate the appliance when there are no signs of
visible damage on it or on the power cable, or when the
appliance has been dropped. Do not use the appliance if
the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if the appliance
is faulty. To prevent any accident, all repairs, including the
replacement of the power cord, must be carried out by an
Authorised Service Centre or by suitably qualified personnel.
