6.4 PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol)

Select PPTP as your WAN connection type if your ISP provides information about IP Address, Subnet

Mask, Default Gateway (Optional), DNS (Optional), Server IP, Login Username, and Login Password.

There are two types of PPTP connection: Dynamic IP Address and Static IP Address.

Dynamic IP Address

WAN Interface Type

Select

as your WAN Interface.

Hostname

Specify the

is given by your Internet Service Provider.

Static IP Address

WAN Interface Type

Select Static IP Address as your WAN Interface.

IP Address

Specify WAN port IP address.

Specify WAN IP Subnet Mask.

Gateway IP Address

Specify WAN Gateway IP address.
