Select
Point
to
Point
Protocol
over
Ethernet
(PPPoE)
if your
ISP
uses
a
PPPoE
connection.
Your
ISP
will
provide
you
with
a
username
and
password.
This
option
is
typically
used
for
DSL
services.
Remove
your
PPPoE
software
from
your
computer,
as
it
is
not
needed
and
will
not
work
with
your
EOA7530.
Login
Specify
the
user
name
supplied
by
your
ISP.
Password
Specify
the
password
supplied
by
your
ISP.
Service
Name
Specify
the
service
name
supplied
by
your
ISP.
MTU
Specify
the
Maximum
Transmit
Unit
size.
It
is
recommended
you
accept
the
default
setting
of
Auto
.
Otherwise,
packets
will
be
fragmented
downstream
if
the
MTU
is
set
too
high
or
too
low,
which
impacts
network
performance.
In
extreme
cases,
an
MTU
setting
that
is
too
low
can
prevent
the
EOA7530
from
establishing
some
connections.

traffic

disconnects
after
a
period
of
idle

elapses.

to

Internet
manually.
Idle
Timeout
If
the
EOA7530
is
configured
for
Automatic
Connection
,
specify
the
maximum
amount
of
time
the
device
can
remain
idle
before
disconnecting.
