3.3.3 WAN
(Bridge/Router)
Click on the
WAN
link on the Network navigation drop-down menu. This device can
be configured at a Router or a Bridge. Select
Enable (Router)
mode if the WAN port
is connected to the Internet. Select
Disable (Bridge)
if the device is connected to a
local network downstream from another router.
The device supports the following WAN connections:

Static IP address

Dynamic
IP
address

PPPoE
o
PPTP

WAN – Static IP address
The WAN interface can be configured as Static IP address. In this type of connection,
your ISP provides you with a dedicated IP address (which does not change as
DHCP).
Login Method
: Select the
Static IP Address
from the drop-down list.
IP Address:
Specify the IP address for this device, which is assigned by your ISP.
Subnet Mask:
Specify the subnet mask for this IP address, which is assigned by
your ISP.
Default Gateway:
Specify the IP address of the default gateway, which is assigned
by your ISP.
Primary / Secondary DNS Address:
Specify the primary and secondary IP address,
which is assigned by your ISP.
Click on the
Apply
button to save the changes.
