Press the Talk button on the monitor to hear audio and to talk through the camera unit.

When the Doorbell button on the camera is pressed, the monitor will ring. After ringing, any
connected monitors will switch on.

If the video door phone’s relay is connected to an electric door strike or other locking device, press the
Relay Unlock Button to allow entrance. If a fail-secure locking device is connected to the E-Lock
pressing the E-Lock Button will allow access. See the wiring diagram on pg. 7 for more details.
Note: The lock will only remain unlocked for 5 seconds and the E-Lock for 1 second after which
the camera and monitor will turn off.

To see what is going on at the entrance, press the Monitor Button once to turn on the monitor. The
camera LED and monitor will automatically switch on but there will be no audio communication in this
mode. To listen in, press the Talk Button to allow 2-way audio communication. When finished, simply
press the Monitor Button again and the camera will switch off. If the Talk Button is not pressed again,
the monitor and camera will switch off after 30s.
